How the heck is no one talking about this on here!? This was by far one of the most edge-of-your-seat finishes on top of an already wild and un-predictable race.
I won't give away spoilers (well sorta) but DAMN. So much good racing out there, such challenging/changing conditions and overall some of the best action I've seen this year, and that's for a street course which are notoriously bad for passing (guess Montoya, Rahal, Bourdais, etc.. didn't get that memo).
Very much looking forward to today's race, though I can't imagine it will be anymore exciting. I was literally, on the edge of my seat watching the last 15 minutes.

Ugh, Indy car is so mainstream.

That race was crazy! couldn't believe how many crashes there were. Got the next race in a little bit, doesn't look like we're gonna get the crazy weather this time but who knows. Yesterday was like 10 cars didn't finish or something? Will be interesting to see how today goes.

I've given up on IndyCar posts here. I try, it goes nowhere.
Fuckin Graham Rahal though. He can be a decent guy in person, but he's had 2 decent showings this year, and he really screwed the pooch yesterday.

Im really starting to love Indycar. With how predictable F1 is this is so much less so it keeps it entertaining. Crazy finish. I just finished my recording from yesterday. Pissed off for Kanaan. Terrible way to finish.

So unpredictable, not only with the drivers but also the smaller teams being able to win through luck and strategy. I honestly think that if people don't like watching this series, they just don't like watching racing. The racing itself is so, so good - with the drivers really wrangling the cars around. I like F1 a lot, but Indycar is just so much more exciting when it's good like this - sure some ovals can be boring sometimes but I think it's great how they race on all sorts of tracks.

Yeah, though with how hard he was pushing yesterday, I kind of expected something to happen. Not something that silly but, eh, like Kanaan said it happens a lot on restarts. He was REALLY impressive right up to that point though. Also, Montoya had a couple nice moves as well.

Yeah, I'm totally switching over from the Watkins Glen race to watch this semi-live. Have both being DVR'ed anyhow.

Yeah I totally agree. Indycar is really racing at its best most of the time at least. I'm not an oval fan. So I don't enjoy those races. But I think its good it reaches out to all audiences. And there's some good rookie drivers this year really pushing the sport ahead.

Since I didn't see another post discussing today's race, the changes between spots 3-5 were nuts at the end!!

Yeah the second race was really good as well, not as oh-my-god-whats-going-to-happen-next but still really solid racing and definitely entertaining.
I think Indycar is really onto to something extra special with these double header races, they definitely seem to add a ton more excitement than a single race.
